Recommended Launch Question(s): Misunderstandings can be embarrassing or even dangerous. The last time you had a misunderstanding was it a major problem or just awkward? Did you clear it up? How?

Recommended Guiding Question(s): God is a unifying force, but man divides. In what areas of your life do you feel unified? In what areas do you feel separate?

When we divide ourselves along lines of race, ethnicity or other similarities does the body of Christ gain or lose anything? Discuss the relative pros or cons.

Do you find that your relationship with God is different depending on how you are doing financially, socially or otherwise? When things are going well have you identified that as a barrier? What do think you should do with that?

In times of challenge or trouble do you find yourself forsaking the body of Christ and shutting yourself off? If so why?

Is it your first reaction to think the best or the worst of people and situations? Where does that come from?

Recommended Summary Question(s): When distancing ourselves from others in the body is it possible that we miss opportunities for God’s sanctification or opportunities to be used in ways we never imagined?

Recommended Application Question(s): The bible teaches us that kindness leads to repentance. How does that convict you in the area of judging others and your thought life? Is there someone you need to go to and reconcile a misunderstanding?
