In the closing chapter of the book that bears his name, Joshua calls together the people of all the tribes of Israel and charges them to make a covenant with God to put away the false gods of their past. Pastor Bob draws parallels from this story to our time, stating that we must choose daily to serve God alone, and to deny the gods of greed, sloth, lust, and intellect.
