Good Friday 2012

A wonderful gift, unexpected and undeserved, can make us respond with amazement, "For me?!" That's the only true response we can have for the incredible gift of salvation that Jesus gave to us through His sacrifice on the cross for our sins. Isaiah 53 describes how He was wounded, bruised, chastised, and whipped so that we could have peace and healing in place of our transgressions and sins. For Him, Good Friday was awful, but for us, Good Friday is great.
