Media ministry for the church reaches far beyond service to our South Florida community. Pastor Bob’s vision to share the Gospel “until the whole world hears” finds a growing audience throughout Florida, across the United States, and even around the world, through a network of community radio stations and through Active Word radio and television programs.
WREH is a 100,000-watt radio station in the heart of Florida, reaching much of the central part of the state. It connects with over forty community stations that retransmit the signal, reaching from Jacksonville to Fort Lauderdale on the east coast, and from Tampa to Naples on the Gulf coast. The station features uplifting Christian music, Bible teaching, and live broadcasts of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale church services.
As the broadcast outreach of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, the Active Word produces radio and television programs featuring Pastor Bob's Bible studies, and other creative media messages designed to show how the truth of the Bible is relevant to every aspect of life. The media team has produced several award winning programs, and constantly explores new ways to create media messages to reach a rapidly growing Web-based audience.
